Had a great stay. A perfect place for an extended family gathering. A beautiful home. Very clean. Kitchen was nicely stocked. Rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. Host communicated well. The main floor bedroom perfect for our elderly Dad. Worked out very well. The beach is a short walk and the views from the house are beautiful. Enjoyed seeing some deer and also a bald eagle!
Positive:
Really well appointed had a washing machine so I did my laundry before leaving (a rack would be helpful) and a well stocked kitchen and was clean and in a great location – I felt safe.
Negative:
I could hear the people above me walking about and the worst was when the people above had a party. When no one was there or when they were keeping normal hours it was fine. The rubbish trucks collect really early!!
Positive:
We love the location. Beautiful area. Many things to do within walking distance. Several restaurants, bakeries and bourbon bars. The distilleries are very close as well. The St Clair itself is very comfortable and quiet. The Howser on the ground floor is the best bourbon bar in the area. Patci and crew took care of us every night after our adventures. This was our second trip to the St Clair and we are planning our third already.
Negative:
The only thing that we didn’t like was our unit didn’t have a toaster. Only a slight inconvenience.
We loved our stay at the St. Clair in Frankfort! The host was extremely responsive and the check-in and parking instructions were clear and concise. Our room contained everything we needed and was very quiet. The location was perfect for exploring the local distilleries and just walking around town. We loved the charm of the building and the décor fit perfectly. We are already planning a return trip next year!
